If you are doing a head gasket repair job on a Northstar and you are not using our SureGrip head studs, these pins may be of use to you. We manufacture replacement alignment dowel pins for the Northstar engine. Our replacement pins are a better fit than OEM. These fit very snug and tight, but do not require any sort of press or mallet to install. Likewise, if you ever need to disassemble the engine again, these are easy to remove.
This is a useful replacement part for those who are using Norms inserts or other threaded inserts.
