The Solution to worn Northstar cam lobes!
Worn Exhaust Cam shaft? 1993-1999 Northstars have this problem over time, especially if they haven't been driven hard. With "spirited" driving the cam lobes and lifters get enough oil. But idling in traffic and "babying" the engine will result in lack of lubrication (splash oiling) and worn lobes.
These are GM Part numbers 1647436 - Right Exhaust, and 1647437 - Left Exhaust
We start with only good OEM cores (measured for tolerances) and have them re-ground by a professional cam grinding company who does nothing but camshafts all day long. The journals are measured and checked for wear, and then given a light polish. The end result is a replacement camshaft that will make your
1993-1999 Northstar engine perform like new again.

*****Installation Note*****
You must use a good quality camshaft lube when installing these cams. Just engine oil is not enough for break-in lubrication, and installing dry will result in severe damage. Use a good quality camshaft lube.
